How we helped Village Hotels with their new furniture for their hotel portfolio.
Founded in 1995 Village Hotels aspired to have hotel complexes on the outskirts of many of the significant cities and towns around the United Kingdom and have already made significant headway into achieving that goal. Having been purchased by the KSL Group recently, Village have made a commitment to refurbishing the hotels with new furniture for bedrooms as well as meeting and breakout areas for business clients.
The Village team had a vision as to their ultimate design outcome and provided Compact with initial concepts and designs to illustrate how the finished products would look.
Compact developed these designs into workable furniture mock ups for approval. Having worked closely with Village with their design and finance team, the furniture was signed off as having achieved the look and the budgetary requirements for the projects and Compact was granted approval to create bedside tables, desks, two drawer storage units as well as the beds for each bedroom. We also undertook re-upholstery to some of the existing Village furniture to ensure it blended seamlessly with the new installation.
Not only that but we were also commissioned to create flip top meeting tables that included integral cable management to keep the style minimalistic and compliant with the Village concept style.
Compact has already successfully delivered the project across numerous Village hotel installations in the group.
