Power Supply
The power is supplied by rechargeable 12-volt batteries. This is ideal in case of power outages and completely negates any risk of electrocution. The batteries are designed to give up to 48 hours of charge, when power is restored, they will recharge. The charger is on 220mA given the brief of keeping the solution green.
Speed
It can be set to several different speeds to allow for rapid storage access. There are several safety features to avoid injury, from clutch systems that halt the trolley if resistance is felt to infra-red beams that when broken, stop the shelf immediately.
